Insurance by Property TypeCondo insurance (commonly an HO-6 policy) covers what your condo association’s master policy doesn’t — typically your unit’s interior, personal property, and liability. It’s a different product from a standard homeowners (HO-3) policy, and not every carrier that writes single-family homes also writes condos.
